Please note that the Center for Academic Advisement and First-Year Experience was formerly known as the Center for Academic Advising and First-Year Experience. Today, the office has been renamed as the Center for Student Success.
Office projects completed as a student leader are showcased in five issues of the Parent/Family Focus Newsletter, content developed for several areas of an orientation and resource website, and an advertisement designed for publication in The Ramapo News to promote Academic Advising month.
Additional work completed as an assistant in the Testing Center under the direction of Student Success includes original web content for the Peer Facilitation and First-Year Experience pages on the CAAFYE website, as well as post-testing handouts written to target different student audiences.
Highlights from two+ years volunteering as a staff writer, copy editor and managing editor for The Ramapo News. Includes pieces in News and Features, and articles featured on GardenStateofMind.org, a website created and maintained by Edna Negrón's Fall 2010 Senior Project: Journalism class.
